Bridge Compliance has a HIPAA Checklist you can use to track your HIPAA compliance progress. This can be done digitally via Bridge Compliance, or you can print the HIPAA Checklist by clicking the Download Checklist Summary button at the bottom of the screen.
The HIPAA Checklist has four sections:
- Administrative Safeguards
- Technical Safeguards
- Physical Safeguards
- Other HIPAA Requirements
Within each section, the following is listed:
- HIPAA Law
- Type
R: Required
A: Addressable - HIPAA Checklist
- Status
This is a drop-down option to indicate if it is Not stated, In progress, or Completed. - Date updated
The Type indicates whether a safeguard is required (R) or addressable (A). For addressable safeguards, the HIPAA Security Officer will determine if such a measure is reasonable and appropriate to implement.
