Overview
You can export a report as a:
- Plain text Comma Separated Value (CSV) file
- Microsoft Excel (XLSX) file
- Summary by Source CSV file
- Dolphin format file (for posting to the Dolphin practice management system)
If your file export contains more than 1,000 records, you will be emailed as soon as it becomes available to you. This enables you to continue working in Bridge Payments while the report is generated. The email you receive will contain a link to download the report. If you are still signed into Bridge Payments, the report will immediately download. If you are not signed in, upon clicking the link, the Practice Management Bridge login screen will open. You can then sign in and retrieve the report.
In Bridge Payments, the notification (“bell”) icon in the top right corner will display a message as soon as your report becomes available. Additionally, reports remain on the Report Exports page in Bridge Payments for a period of seven days.
About the Summary by Source Export
The CSV report export option Summary by Source displays a summary of transaction amounts by source. In addition to the sales and refund summary rows available in other report exports, this option contains rows for Balance Collect and Recurring.
- Total Sale: The total of all transactions (Sales, Balance Collect Recurring) minus “refund” amount
- Sales: The total of all sale transactions minus transactions with source = balance collect or recurring
- Balance Collect: The total of all transactions with source/clerk ID = balance collect
- Recurring: The total of all transactions with source/clerk ID = recurring
