Troubleshooting: Calibrate the Terminal Touchscreen

Ingenico iSC250 Touchscreen Calibration

To troubleshoot the touchscreen calibration on an Ingenico iSC250 device:

  1. Verify that the cord has screws holding it in place.
  2. Power cycle (reboot) the terminal by pressing and holding CLEAR and – (minus) simultaneously on the iSC250 payment terminal.
  3. When the iSC250 reboots and the grey Retail Base screen appears, press 2, 6, 3, 4, and ENTER.
    • Note: There is a small time window for you to enter the numbers above. If you do not enter these numbers within this time window, the device will finish the reboot, and you will have to start the calibration process again.

  4. Press the + (plus) to display the functions menu.
  5. Press 0 for Telium Manager.
  6. Press 3 for Initialization.
  7. Press 2 for Hardware.
  8. Press 4 for Calibration.
    • Note: A message will state that the feature is not available. Ignore this message and move on to the next step.
  9. Press 7, 5, 8, 1, and ENTER to re-calibrate the payment terminal.
    • Note: If your iSC 250 is loaded with RBA 21 or above, you do not need to enter the 7581 code in this step. Use +/ to select the Yes option and press ENTER instead.
  10. You will get a message saying, “Calibration successful.”
  11. Reboot the device (hold CLEAR and (minus) simultaneously) to exit the function menu.
Lane7000 Touchscreen Calibration

To troubleshoot the touchscreen calibration on a Lane7000 device:

  1. Log out of Practice Management Bridge by clicking your username in the upper right corner and selecting Log Off.
    • Note: It is required to be logged out of Practice Management Bridge before attempting to recalibrate, otherwise it won’t work properly.
  2. Ensure the device displays “terminal closed”, and enter 2, 6, 3, 4, and F.
  3. Select Control Panel > Terminal Settings > Human Interface > Calibrate Touch.
    • Note: You can make the selections in two ways.
      • Method 1: Use a pen or your finger to tap the selections on the screen.
      • Method 2: Use the F key to move through the options and press the green O button to select the necessary options.
  4. Press any keypad number and wait for the calibration to finish.
  5. Press the red X button twice, which should take you back to the “terminal closed” screen.
  6. Log back in to Practice Management Bridge.
