Complete Your HIPAA Officer Training

The HIPAA Officer Training is only applicable to HIPAA Officers. The HIPAA Officer leads your practice’s compliance efforts and ensures staff understand their responsibilities. The HIPAA Officer for an organization is required to complete the HIPAA Officer Training Course.

Note: This interactive course takes approximately two hours to complete, and awards two dental CE credits.

Completing this training—and making sure all staff finish theirs—helps prevent data breaches, protects patient privacy, and keeps your practice compliant with HIPAA rules.

Time to complete this requirement: 4 hours (for your HIPAA Officer Training)

Instructions

1. Select OfficeSafe University > HIPAA Training from the left menu.
2. Click the Begin Course button for HIPAA Officer Certification.
3. Complete the HIPAA Officer Training Course.
4. After completing the HIPAA Officer Training Course, click the Sign Policy button to sign the Employee Training Acknowledgement.
5. Click the Sign Policy button to sign the Policies Acknowledgement.
   Your HIPAA training requirements are now considered completed.
